General Rules
Breaking of these will result in suspensions of accounts, IP Ban or other eradication means. The suspension time for first offense will be at least 2 weeks or longer depending on the infraction. Second and Third offenses will be far more severe up to and including permanent IP banning.
Physically Threatening Another User - Threats On the Board will not be tolerated.
Using the Board for Illegal activities or planning of such will not be tolerated - Face it this place is less safe than a cell phone for these activities so it's kind of stupid anyways.
Hate Speech - I don't want that type of stuff here, think anything you want, don't post it here at all. It will be deleted.
Posting another users personal information, without their consent, such as Phone Number, Address, etc, etc. is not allowed.
Collecting of other users personal information - It is expressly forbidden to collect any personal information On the Board for any use, including: commercial use, for purpose of tracking, or for harassing users.
Researching users information, even through legal means and publishing any part of this information On the Board is also forbidden.
Using Multiple Accounts - They will all be suspended.
Using another person’s account to post or chat.
Exceeding Image Size Restrictions of 50k per Image or 100k Per post.
Having an invalid or "full" email account set in your profile will cause your account to be automatically suspended. Actually this feature is broken, but should be fixed soon I hope.
Email and Popup Spamming is forbidden. The spam detector should automatically suspend a user account if it detects similar popups or emails sent to many recipients. Or if complaints are received concerning spamming, accounts will be suspended or banned.
Spam posts of advertisements. Keep all advertisements in either Classified and Jobs or The Scene Exception: The Church Dallas events and topics will be allowed almost anywhere they make sense to be.
Accusations of Criminal Behavior against other users is not allowed. Unless:
(a) They are accompanied by the Case Number and Phone number of the relevent Law Enforcement Agency.
(b) They are brought up by the accused initially in a post.
A "no flaming" rule is now in effect for all Forums except Politics, and Negative Waves. Breaking this rule will result in immediate deletion or editing of offending posts.
Flame wars with other boards are not allowed.
